Prendre refuge dans le Bouddha signifie choisir l'eveil comme but ultime et trouver un sens clair a sa vie.Le Dharma : Il s'agit de la voie tracee par le Bouddha. Bien qu'il comprenne des enseignements scripturaires, le veritable Dharma est la transformation interieure vecue lors de la mise en pratique de ces enseignements.Le Sangha : Il regroupe tous les etres ayant une experience concrete du Dharma.
